You may get a residence permit if at least one of your parents or grandparents is or has been a Finnish citizen by birth. It does not matter if your grandparent or parent has later lost his or her Finnish citizenship, for example by becoming a citizen of some other country. You do not need to give a statement on your means of support, although other residence permit applicants usually need to do so.
Since your grandparents were born in Finland, this connection may qualify you under certain conditions, but it's important to verify if remigration can apply directly to grandchildren.
You mentioned having all necessary documents like your grandparents' Finnish birth certificates and other familial information. Ensuring these documents are in order, translated, and properly authenticated (if required) is crucial. An immigration lawyer can also help ensure that your application package is comprehensive.
Being able to bring your job with you is a significant advantage. Demonstrating financial stability and a steady income can positively impact your immigration application, showing that you will not be reliant on Finnish social services.
Demonstrating your family's ties to Finland through past visits and connections with relatives can support your application. Expressing a willingness to integrate into Finnish society, possibly by learning the language or engaging in community activities, could also be beneficial.
